In 1883, the Federal Civil Service act was legislated to provide fully secured government service positions to capable employees.  However, this stability came with a price.  Since these positions became highly coveted, a great deal of competition for these positions arose.  Although the process became increasingly difficult, the benefits and salary associated with these positions made it all seem worthwhile.  As more and more people became interested in these positions, the process became increasingly difficult.  Especially with the state of our economy at this time, many people are interested in a fully secured position, since private positions are no longer as stable as they once were.  As a result, the application process evolved as a means for selecting the best candidate for the job. 

As a result, in 1995 CAP got approved as a means for guiding applicants through this treacherous process.  This program has helped hundreds of thousands of people just like you get a career even when they themselves had given up.  CAP has been a roadmap to success for over a decade, for people of every type of background.  If you have the desire and the motivation, CAP has the know-how that can take your potential and turn it into a reality.
